Parking at the National Memorial Arboretum 2011

Also, see detailed parking instructions here...

Motorcycle parking for this year's event will be in a large field opposite the entrance to the NMA. The surface of the field may appear alarming at first glance, but regular site inspections have taken place and tests have shown that the surface is consistently strong throughout the field. In fact, we rode a heavy Harley Davidson touring machine onto the field following a week of heavy rain to demonstrate the strength of the surface.

We want you to be as happy to ride & park your bike in this area as we are, so please have a look at the photographs. Our suggestion is that you bring along something to prevent your side stand foot from sinking through the surface if yours is thinner than the one in the photographs.

If the area suffers severe weather in the week leading up to the event the plans are to utilise the NMA grounds as before.

As in previous events, there will be a Park & Ride scheme operating from nearby Catton Hall.
